Follow along to get Konect (www.konectGDS.com) set up to collect data from a datalogger with a fixed IP address. This could be a CR1000 with an NL116, a CR6, a CR 310, or another PakBus datalogger that is accessible via an IP address. Before you get going, you'll need some information about your station such as: the type of datalogger, its IP address and port number, and its PakBus address. Konect is a cloud-based application that automatically collects data from your Campbell Scientific IP-enabled dataloggers, stores it securely, and provides a variety of data display components so you can view the data that is important to you. Because Konect is a cloud service, you can access it from any browser on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Next, we will teach you how to enable it and then set up the ActiveX controls on your computer. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to enable ActiveX in internet explorer. Step 1 -- Test for ActiveX Before we teach you how to enable ActiveX in internet explorer, it is important that you check if ActiveX is already supported. In order to do that, log on to the website "pcpitstop.com\testax.asp". When the sites opens up you will be notified that ActiveX is not supported. Step 2 -- Go to ActiveX filtering Now click on gear icon which is located at the top right corner of page and move over to "Safety". Over there, click on the "ActiveX Filtering" option to enable the feature which will download activex for internet explorer. Step 3 -- Agree to the notification prompt Now refresh the current page and a notification will pop up letting you know that a script is trying to access an ActiveX control. Simply click on "Yes" to allow it to download activex for internet explorer. Step 4 -- Enabled ActiveX With that done, you can see the time being displayed on the webpage, which means that you have enabled ActiveX. Step 5 -- Disable ActiveX An alternate way to disable ActiveX filtering is by moving to the address bar on top and clicking on the blue icon right before the refresh icon. A pop up window will open up letting you know that some contents on the website are filtered. Over here, click on the turn off ActiveX filtering option and the feature will be disabled. Step 6 -- Open Internet Properties via run You can also open up the Internet Properties window to set up ActiveX controls. For that, open up the run command by using the shortcut key "windows+r". With that done, type in "inetcpl.cpl" and hit the enter key. Step 7 -- Go to Custom level security In the internet properties window, move over to the "Security" and click on the "Custom Level" button. Step 8 -- Allow Scriptlets Over here, move to the "ActiveX controls and plug-ins section and enable the Allow Scriptlets feature. Step 9 -- Prompt for unsigned ActiveX controls For the "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" option, click on "Prompt". This is so that only the recommended updates are automatically installed. Whenever an unsigned ActiveX control will require an update, you will be notified first. Step 10 -- Enable script active x controls for scripting Lastly, move to the "Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting" section and enable the feature. With these settings, ActiveX controls will automatically be able to update themselves as and when required. Step 11 -- Apply changes Now click on the Ok button to save the changes made and exit. And that's it.

Storyboard extends the popular chalk library so that it can also be used on the browser. * Enjoy the simple-yet-powerful API. You will find a new "Storyboad" pane in your Chrome DevTools. Point your browser to either your normal server or Storyboard's standalone log server and log in (if required). Utilizing advances in spear phishing, web application attacks, and persistent malware these new sophisticated attackers advance rapidly through your network. Forensic investigators must master a variety of operating systems, investigation techniques, and incident response tactics to solve challenging cases. Temporal data is located everywhere on a computer system. File system MAC times, log files, network data, registry data, internet history files and file metadata all contain time data that can be correlated into critical analysis to successfully solve cases. While utilized first by my team in AFOSI in 2001, timeline analysis has become a critical investigative technique to solve complex cases. Until recently, timeline analysis frameworks have not existed to easily allow multiple examinations of time based data into a single framework that is easily analyzed by investigators. The Citizen Weather Observer Program ties data from all those 'citizen' weather stations out there - the ones you see at the bigger hamfests - into the NOAA system to become part of the reporting and forecasting system. One of the guys in charge is a ham, Gerry Creager N5JXS. Gerry came to the 2017 ARRL and TAPR Digital Communications Conference in St. Louis to present the Sunday Seminar, the DCC's traditional Deep Dive into a single topic for four hours, closing the conference on Sunday morning. This epside is actually just Part One of the talk. Gerry covers a lot of ground, from what the various forms of weather stations are, to the optimum siting of the hardware, to the data supplied and how NOAA uses it. The Soviet Union launched it into an elliptical low Earth orbit on 4 October 1957. It was visible all around the Earth and its radio pulses were detectable. The surprise success precipitated the American Sputnik crisis and triggered the Space Race, a part of the larger Cold War. My advice is this: Settle! That's right. Don't worry about passion or intense connection. Don't nix a guy based on his annoying habit of yelling "Bravo!" in movie theaters. Overlook his halitosis or abysmal sense of aesthetics. Because if you want to have the infrastructure in place to have a family, settling is the way to go. Based on my observations, in fact, settling will probably make you happier in the long run, since many of those who marry with great expectations become more disillusioned with each passing year. (It's hard to maintain that level of zing when the conversation morphs into discussions about who's changing the diapers or balancing the checkbook.) Obviously, I wasn't always an advocate of settling. In fact, it took not settling to make me realize that settling is the better option, and even though settling is a rampant phenomenon, talking about it in a positive light makes people profoundly uncomfortable. Whenever I make the case for settling, people look at me with creased brows of disapproval or frowns of disappointment, the way a child might look at an older sibling who just informed her that Jerry's Kids aren't going to walk, even if you send them money. It's not only politically incorrect to get behind settling, it's downright un-American. Our culture tells us to keep our eyes on the prize (while our mothers, who know better, tell us not to be so picky), and the theme of holding out for true love (whatever that is—look at the divorce rate) permeates our collective mentality. Even situation comedies, starting in the 1970s with The Mary Tyler Moore Show and going all the way to Friends, feature endearing single women in the dating trenches, and there's supposed to be something romantic and even heroic about their search for true love. Of course, the crucial difference is that, whereas the earlier series begins after Mary has been jilted by her fiancé, the more modern-day Friends opens as Rachel Green leaves her nice-guy orthodontist fiancé at the altar simply because she isn't feeling it. But either way, in episode after episode, as both women continue to be unlucky in love, settling starts to look pretty darn appealing. Mary is supposed to be contentedly independent and fulfilled by her newsroom family, but in fact her life seems lonely. Are we to assume that at the end of the series, Mary, by then in her late 30s, found her soul mate after the lights in the newsroom went out and her work family was disbanded? If her experience was anything like mine or that of my single friends, it's unlikely. And while Rachel and her supposed soul mate, Ross, finally get together (for the umpteenth time) in the finale of Friends, do we feel confident that she'll be happier with Ross than she would have been had she settled down with Barry, the orthodontist, 10 years earlier? She and Ross have passion but have never had long-term stability, and the fireworks she experiences with him but not with Barry might actually turn out to be a liability, given how many times their relationship has already gone up in flames. It's equally questionable whether Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, who cheated on her kindhearted and generous boyfriend, Aidan, only to end up with the more exciting but self-absorbed Mr. Big, will be better off in the framework of marriage and family. (Some time after the breakup, when Carrie ran into Aidan on the street, he was carrying his infant in a Baby Björn. Can anyone imagine Mr. Big walking around with a Björn?)
