Where To Look For Gold #7 - Gold Mining in a Small Creek

09:20
http://www.WhereGoldIs.com In this video we show you how we find gold in a small mountain creek. It's too wet to use dry washers, but there isn't enough water to run a sluice, so we had to modify our techniques.

SOFALA NSW WHERE GOLD WAS FOUND DONE BY DRONE

01:46
Sofala is a village in New South Wales, Australia, 255 kilometres (158 mi) north-west of Sydney, within Bathurst Regional Council. It is located beside the Turon River. Sofala is just off the Bathurst-Ilford Road, with only local traffic through the town itself. At the 2006 census, Sofala had a population of 208. Turon River Near Sofala Sofala came about as a direct result of the gold rush which had been spurred on when Edward Hargraves discovered gold at Summerhill Creek on 12 February 1851. By June of that year, thousands of people had set up mining operations in the valley, and both the Royal Hotel and a general store were built in 1851 to handle the increased demand. Initially, gold was found in the area known as Gold Point on the Turon River. When the alluvial gold ran out, mining turned to quartz reef mining. The town was a centre of opposition to the gold licensing system in New South Wales at the time. A considerable proportion of the miners were Chinese. Sofala Public School was established in 1878. There was an Anglican church and a Catholic convent. The Convent opened in 1872 and closed in 1909, although it was a church until 1970. The Gas Hotel was one of the first two hotels licensed, in 1851. The Royal Hotel was established in 1862.There were also two other hotels in 1866, Sofala Inn and Barley Mow. The Barley Mow having a Cobb and Co booking office. Now a private residence, the Post Office and telegraph office, built in 1879 operated until 1989. Attractions today include the gold-rush-era Sofala Royal Hotel and the old gaol. Small-scale gold workings are still active in the town. Sofala has been reported to be the oldest surviving gold-rush town in Australia. There are still gold prospectors who pass the time using metal detectors, gold pans, and sluice boxes to recover small quantities of gold dust.

Gold Prospecting moonlight

17:48
At this location the second largest nugget ever discovered in New Zealand was turfed up in 1917 by prospectors who were re-working old tailings from the 1860's gold-rush to Moonlight Creek. The 87.5 ounce nugget was named the 'Victory'. George Moonlight moved from the Victorian Goldfields (Australia) to New Zealand, then caught a steamer to the west coast of the South Island. George travelled from one gold rush to another, sometimes striking good gold, often not. His remains were found on the 16 September 1884 at Hope Bush (Cow Creek) having gone missing the year before on a lone prospecting trip, and is buried at the Nelson cemetery. Gold was discovered at a site, about 40 kilometres north-east of Greymouth, by prospectors called Cabet (surname) and 'Panama Bill', in 1868. They decided to name the new goldfield after George Moonlight. The creek and neighbouring terraces contained coarse dark nuggetty gold, sometimes impregnated with rose quartz (or rose tinted quartz). Many large nuggets have been found historically at the site. These include W.H. Jones 52 oz, George Fox 78 oz, William Coulter (known as Santa Anna) 47 oz, Mitchell and Russell (surnames) 79 oz, 60 oz, 40 oz, 2 x 33 oz, 22.50 oz and 20 oz, 'Flash' Barry (named after his spending spree in Melbourne from gold finds in the Victorian goldfields) 37 oz, Young and party several from 37 oz to 23 oz, Alfred Bliss 37 oz, Thomas Wood 36 oz, and much more that goes unrecorded. Retired geologist Jock Braithwaite when interviewed in part about Moonlight Creek, gives a fine definition of a nugget: ' A nugget is if you drop it in the dish, and it goes ding'. The site is well known amongst gold fossickers, lured by the romantic name, and the improbable promises of riches, from the many nuggets found here in the past. Gold prospecting requires a permit, but not in the seventeen public fossicking sites on the South Island (always check the Department of Mines website for the most up to date information). Prosecutions for mining without a permit do occur, as a property owner near the entrance of the Moonlight Road found in 2016. Non motorised fossicking is allowed, in designated fossicking sites, including panning dishes, and small scale sluicing. The thought here is families will come, with children given the opportunity to pan for gold in the creek, finding a few specks, then going home happy having spent the day in the beautiful New Zealand outdoors. Not everyone buys into this. Online forums note conflicts with people behaving badly, including a local rock club who arrived, and were threatened by a man clearing trees. Gold does funny things to people, and does not always bring out the best in human nature. Small nuggets have been reportedly found up to recent times. The best time to go is spring and early summer, after the winter floods have potentially washed gold nuggets to the surface. The best time to go to avoid people is mid-winter, when there is knee deep mud, constant drizzling rain, and sub-zero temperatures. The entrance road to Moonlight Creek can be found at a location called Atarau, on the main road on the northern side of the Grey River. Where the road turns sharply is a pull-out area with prominent 'Moonlight' sign, and minor gold mining equipment. The fossicking site is via a narrow gravel road heading north from here into the thickly forested hills for 10 kilometres (sometimes used by logging trucks), to a place now known as Anderson's Flat. The fossicking area covers 59 768 ha, beginning 1.32 kilometres above the bridge crossing. A gold location near Queenstown is also called Moonlight Creek. Prospectors rushed to the site after the 1868 find, many described as 'hatters', a gold mining term for an elderly prospector having gone slightly mad in the head from gold fever. The focus was on a gutter running parallel to the creek, and disappearing into a terrace. Much tunnelling into the terrace failed to locate the gutter extension. There were reefs at Moonlight Creek, but it appears not enough for large company involvement. Several pegged claims, and a couple started work, but amounted to little. The creek was pegged by dredging companies with a similar result. An 1875 report states by this stage many had left, with one store remaining. Coarse gold was also found at Caledonian Creek, 5 miles away: Baxter Creek for fine gold; and Garden Gully, all seeing small numbers of miners around the same time as the Moonlight Creek rush. Long (like all day) difficult (steep, muddy, wet etc) but beautiful walks and mountain bike trails eg. Croesus Track, can be taken through the lush temperate rainforest to the Garden Gully site, containing swing bridges, a 1905 era stamp battery, mining relics, and tin gold miner huts.

MINING ENGINEER MIGRATING FROM PHILIPPINES TO AUSTRALIA

03:39
Mabuhay! This video is presented by Jose Respall, the principal of Respall Migration Australia which was founded in 1999. If you are a Filipino Mining Engineer working in the Philippines or overseas in a country outside Australia here is a great opportunity for you. A chance to further your career in Australia. It is a land of opportunity with higher wages and a wonderful relaxed way of life. Joseis a registered migration agent who specialises in Australian immigration. The first step involves reading the first 4 chapters of Jose Respall's book Avoiding The Migration Minefield - How To Migrate To Australia From The Philippines. The book captures his 14 years of Australian immigration experience. Respall has made the first 4 chapters available in a downloadable e-book from the website at http://www.respall.com/. He has included real life Australian immigration case studies, hints and tips on how to migrate to Australia, technical information and the all-important code of conduct. The video outlines the process to receiving a visa to live in Australia. The Mining Engineer applicant must attend a review for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at Respall Migration Australia Manila. This is done to help the applicant to pass it. The engineer is shown the Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) which is a requirement of Engineers Australia to prove the applicant has the experience to work in Australia. Respall Migration Australia documentation specialists assist the Mining Engineer with each document to make sure it is correct - this includes improving their CV to Australian standards. Engineers Australia is the assessing authority for engineers who migrate to Australia from the Philippines. Once the IELTS test has been passed and Engineers Australia has provided a favourable letter the next step is for Respall Migration Australia to prepare an Expression of Interest and lodge it with the Department of Immigration and Boarder Protection (DIPB). The department sends specific instructions regarding the engineer application for Australian immigration and Respall Migration Australia help the Mining Engineer to complete the requests. Once those requirements are met the department issues a visa grant for the engineer and their family members - if they are included in the application for Australian immigration. To start this whole process a Filipino Mining Engineer must email their CV to Respall Migration Australia for assessment. Engineers living in the Philippines can meet Respall Migration Australia in their Makati City office; those further away can Skype. The complete book Avoiding The Migration Minefield - How To Migrate To Australia From The Philippines will officially be launched in May 2014 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Respall Migration Australia. Respall Migration Australian principal Jose Respall says there is a real minefield when it comes to Australian immigration. Engineers being highly skilled professionals sometimes attempt to prepare their own visa applications but they can't be expected to know the Migration Act and keep up with Australian government changes to legislation which occur several times a year. One wrong answer or incorrect document can jeopardise the entire application. The other danger is the many unscrupulous and corrupt individuals who promise to help but really are only interested in taking the applicant's money and disappearing. Some have masqueraded as migration agents. The end result is usually the visa applicant losing a lot of money for no gain. Respall Migration Australia stresses the need for a genuine and valid visa application for Australian immigration. A Filipino Mining Engineer has peace of mind knowing that Jose Respall, who is located in Sydney, Australia, is a registered migration agent as is the manager of his operation based in the Philippines and they must abide by the Code of Conduct as a breach of the code would see their licence being removed. A copy of the code of conduct is provided by Respall Migration Australia to their clients. Use this link Respall http://www.respall.com/ to get your copy of the first 4 chapters of Avoiding The Migration Minefield - How To Migrate To Australia From The Philippines and start your journey to a new and better life! Finding gold nuggets in South Australia

First ever trip to Australia and the proof that it's who you know, not what you know. Trevor Clark took me to an area where he knew there were nuggets in the ground. On the way to that area I got a really faint target, and once we knew it was a possible nugget, Trevor Ferraresso (there were two Trevor's) started filming me. This was the first of six nuggets found in two days. Not the most to be found, but I'm still happy to find the in SA, one of the 'harder to find gold states'

Exactly one year before the NSW election, farmers with the Lock the Gate Alliance, environmentalists with the Nature Conservation Council, Traditional Owners, community groups and thousands of ordinary citizens joined together to launch the Land Water Future campaign. 80% of NSW was covered with coal and gas mining licences and applications. But today, thanks to you and thousands more, less than 10% of our state is at risk. It’s been a year since the NSW election, and the Land Water Future campaign is coming to an end. There's still more to do to protect the Liverpool Plains from Shenhua's coal mine and the Pilliga forest from Santos's gasfield, and to support communities like Bylong, Berrima, and Bulga as they fight for their future. Make sure you're part of the next phase with the Nature Conservation Council at www.nature.org.au and Lock the Gate at www.lockthegate.org.au. In the end, it was city residents joining with country communities for our land, water and future that has made all the difference. Thanks for being part of something big. 'The Mighty Dollar' ep containing this song available from http://www.lukevassella.com/ https://www.facebook.com/lukevassella This is the sixth video in a series of songs I've written inspired by the coal seam gas industry which is planned to expand on the Northern Rivers NSW. 'The word is out' words and music by Luke Vassella Copyright 2012 The word is out, it's rolling across the land The word is out, it's written by the people's hand The word is out, no gas mining here The word is out, it's ringing loud and clear The word is out So lift your voice, raise your banners high People rejoice under the North Coast sky Cos this is our time, and this is our place We want a healthy future not destruction and disgrace The word is out The word is out, we want Australia back The word is out, call off this gas attack The word is out, our community is not for sale The word is out, sense and reason will prevail The word is out So lift your voice, raise your banners high People rejoice under the North Coast sky Cos this is our time, and this is our place We want a healthy future not destruction and disgrace So lift your voice, raise your banners high People rejoice under the North Coast sky Cos this is our time, and this is our place We want a healthy future not destruction and disgrace The word is out This is the 21st century Profit, planet and people must come equally first Who's picking up the pieces when the mining bubble bursts? We say NO we don't want it! We say NO we don't need it! We say NO social licence! We're stakeholders and we mean it No means no, take this corruption and go!

10:02
Hey Guys and Gals! In this video I show you the rims and tyres i have chosen to run on the Isuzu MU-X. I also show you exactly how to fit your new tyres to the rims and balance them using the correct machinery. I thought this would be a good insight into what is happening behind the scenes when you drop your 4x4 off to a 4wd or tyre shop to get your new rims and tyres fitted. I show you the process of fitting and balancing the new tyres and rims before putting them on the 4wd. The Rims are - Fuel Offroad Rims 17 x 8.5 pos 7.4mm offset The Tyres are - Atturo Trail Blade M/Ts 265/70r17 They are a legal size to fit on the Isuzu MU-X, the standard tyres measure approximately 30" and the upgraded tyres measure in at 31.6" so they are within the legal 2" size increase. If you enjoyed this video and would like to see more of the 2018 Isuzu MU-X then hit the subscribe button and the thumbs up and stay tuned for the build up. http://www.rightwaycommercial.com.au/truck-driving-school-gold-coast Truck Driver Training Gold Coast Rightway Driving School 62 Harper Street Molendinar Gold Coast, QLD 4214 Ph: 07 5564 9988 Why You Should Look Into Truck Driver Training Australia Are you worried about what you're going to do with your future? Does the prospect of going to school for four years fill you with dread? You're not going to be stuck working minimum wage jobs for eternity, so don't worry. You just have to think outside of the box, and Australian driving school is just what you need to consider! It Doesn't Take Too Long There are a ton of careers out there for you to pursue, but most of them require at least for years at University. Then you have to face a small job market for an entry level position that doesn't pay too much. When you go to Australian driving school though you can finish in under a year. There are a ton of great jobs for you out there, and they all start off at great pay rates. It Pays Well So how good is that pay? Truck drivers in Australia are some of the highest paid workers in the non-STEM fields. The country survives on the shipment of goods across the various inhabitable areas of the country, and they're willing to pay well to make sure their orders get to where they need to be on time. You Can Grow Beyond Being Just A Driver Your education and career do not need to end with just being a driver. There are a ton of companies that like to promote their drivers once they understand their routes and the logistics that make the transport of goods "go". If you want to be a go-getter then there is an excellent future waiting for you. If not? You'll do just fine remaining a driver. So what are you waiting for? Your future can start today if you take that first step and look into truck driver training Australia! Stations of the Southern Cross

01:02:02
2010 Eureka Celebrations. Stations of the Southern Cross On one level the Eureka stockade was a dispute over mining licences at Ballarat god diggings in 1854. However when you look at the people that made up the rebellion and the allegiance they swore to each other we can understand that it was more than that. It was about one class rebelling against the laws of the ruling elite in Victoria. Since 2002 a unique celebration has been organised to commemorate theis event to defend the original ideals that the Eureka rebels, women and men, stood for. In 2010 there were eight 'Stations of the Southern Cross'. 1. Eureka Stockade -- dawn commemoration of diggers who defended their rights (oo:00) 2. Eureka Stockade commemoration march from the Stockade to Bakery Hill (1:20) 3. Bakery Hill -- giving out the Eureka Australia Day medals (4:17) the swearing of the Eureka oath with West Papuan leader in Australia, Jacob Prai, 4. Ballarat Town Hall -- Eureka flag raising ceremony (24:40) and swearing allegiance (27:50) 5. March to Ballarat Cemetery 6. Ballarat Cemetery (28:39) -- speeches by the graveside of the diggers (30:07) Speech of freedom and solidarity by the leader of the Free Papua movement in Australia, Jacob Prai. Jacob made an eloquent plea for independence and the right for economic development (38:30). Later there was discussion of the soldiers role by their grave (53:00) 7. Talk given by Dr Dorothy Wickham on the 'Women of Eureka' 8. Visit to the Ballarat Regional Art gallery which houses paintings and the Eureka flag. A note about the little drummer boy (1:01:47)

Conference on Western Sahara Melbourne 2015: Tim Robertson

44:03
Exploration and Exploitation cannot be meaningfully separated in practice. Tim Robertson, SC in his presentation to the Melbourne conference Natural Resources – the Key to Western Sahara’s Future, 19 March 2015 calls into question a crucial distinction in Hans Corell’s 2002 UN legal opinion on oil exploration licences in Western Sahara. Accepting Robertson's view would mean that no prospective activity licensed by Morocco can take place in the non-self-governing territory of Western Sahara until a referendum of self-determination is held. Conference Details: http://www.sahararesourcesday.info Tim Robertson is a senior NSW barrister and civil libertarian with a very broad practice, predominantly in environmental, property, native title and public law, including public international law. He advises governments, corporations and NGOs in the Asia-Pacific Region. This talk, not listed on the program, was given at the Conference Dinner on19 March 2015, at the Angliss Restaurant, 550 Little Lonsdale Street Melbourne.

KIM and MAR - Corrupt Police Investigations - False Section 632 - NO RIGHTS 100713p2

02:57
Yes ... you have been given the INCORRECT information ( not applicable Section 632 - Wiretapping Act) and we are just doing our job. Not our job as in protecting your rights and being helpful RATHER our job in bullying, intimidating, giving incorrect and un-applicable law which we don't have to even be sure as long as that is what we are told to say ... yes, the BANALITY of EVIL continues ... we are just doing our job. Ask yourself and look at the Sheriff videos where I am told by Asst Sheriff (Paul) that video taping in PUBLIC AREAS is ok. Look at where I question WINTERS where he got the INCORRECT LAW INTERPRETATION ... I ask ... did you get from city attorney ... no answer ... just more mis-direction, incorrect information and lots of inhumanity with impunity. Keep watching the videos ... look up section 632 and EXPECTATION of PRIVACY and then note the GAMES played by the Sheriff department and Jane Kim;s office in VIOLATION of my rights ... IMAGINE trying to give them EVIDENCE ... oh, that is right they DO NOT want the EVIDENCE just the appearance of doing something which leads to NOTHING and NO RESULTS, NO CHANGES, NO ACCOUNTABILITY and just continue to the GAME as usual. Ask yourself ... who is the FAILURE here? Who will PROTECT my rights? Not the SFPD or Sheriff ...what a FARCE. Keep watching the videos and KNOW you are NEXT.
