How to head shoot deer out hunting - age restricted - contains graphic images

02:20
The YouTube headshot film. This video is designed to show where to head-shoot deer. It is aimed at deer managers only. You may find this film offensive. Head shooting deer is a tricky subject but some circumstances dictate it. In this film we're out filming a parkland deer cull. Using a high speed camera we capture the moment a fallow doe is shot in the head. It's not pretty but it shows how clinical the shot can be if done properly. Also, deer manager Roy Lupton uses a fallow skull to explain target areas and the importance of being confident in your own abilities and that of your kit. We are proud to promote enjoyment of fieldsports and the countryside. There are three guiding principles to everything we do on Fieldsports Channel: ▶ Shoot responsibly ▶ Respect the quarry ▶ Ensure a humane, clean and quick kill Take part in nature. Join the Fieldsports Nation https://Fcha.nl Why shoot deer? There are more than two million red, roe, fallow, sika, muntjac and Chinese water deer in Britain’s countryside and semi-urban areas, the highest level for 1,000 years. Numbers have doubled since 1999, according to the Deer Initiative, the UK government’s deer agency. Deer are an attractive and an important part of our wildlife. However, they have no natural predator in the UK so numbers must be sensibly and strategically managed to keep them in balance with their habitat and to prevent damage to crops, trees, woodland flora, gardens and other wildlife. Deer cause £4.5 million-worth (Forestry Commission Scotland) of damage to plantations and other commercial woodlands in Scotland. Crop damage is estimated at £4.3m a year according to DEFRA, with the greatest damage on cereal crops in east and south-west England. More than 8,000 hectares (Parliamentary Office for Science and Technology) of woodland with SSI status is currently in ‘unfavourable’ or ‘recovering’ condition due to deer impacts such as browsing and fraying. Deer can also influence the variety of wildlife in woodlands and other habitats by altering structural and plant species diversity. According to the University of East Anglia’s Dr Paul Dolman, that has resulted in a 50% decline in woodland bird numbers where deer are present, impacting particularly on nightingales, blackcaps, chiffchaffs and warblers. Deer are susceptible to Bovine TB and may be responsible for the transmission of TB to cattle. They are also the likely driver behind the UK’s increasing tick population (Scharlemann et al 2008). Happily, venison is a delicious meat. It is wild, natural and free range, and – almost fat-free – it is one of the healthiest meats available today. Results from research commissioned by the Game-to-Eat campaign (Leatherhead Food International Research 2006) suggest that there are real health benefits to eating game. Venison is high in protein, low in saturated fatty acids and contains higher levels of iron than any other red meat. This film is an add-on to an item in Fieldsports Britain episode 173. Baby deer rescue and release

16:57
A deer doe abandoned one of her twin fawns, the fawn had injured leg and could not keep up with the mother. I do not support keeping wild animals as a pets, but this was special situation. The baby deer was healed and released back to her real mother. Update: The doe and two her fawns is still around, we seen them through the summer and the autumn. Here is follow up video one year after release: https://youtu.be/GvRcix5-qVs Here is few videos how she learn to drink milk and bathing: https://youtu.be/-KNY_UXHc44 https://youtu.be/dgNJ05cRXdo I am thankful for every single person who liked, shared and left a comment. I didn't expect this story to become so popular. I am sure that any of us with a little bit of a conscience about our existence, with love for the nature and animals would do the same. Fallow deer: Mating season [Full HD]

03:36
Jacob and I with a few student of Wageningen were at the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen to see some Fallow deers burling. It was an amazing day with fights, foxes, kingfisher and some pikes. It was a nice weather and we had all enjoyed that day. This short film is made in one day. It shows a little bit from the mating season. The males are burling for females and during this period the male will catch the females so they could give birth around may. With this video I will show you something about this period in the life of a Fallow deer. I used a Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM, an ISAW Extreme and a video tripod. www.jeffphotography.nl/

Rescued Tame Deer Saving Trooper and Patch

03:20
Trooper lost his leg at only a few days old after being run over by a sickle mower. He had so much will to live, we had to give him a chance. Patch, Trooper's best friend, was rescued as a little fawn after his mother was hit by a car. He was found dehydrated and brought to Carol Deyo having seizures. Patch has partial blindness. Carol is a retired vet technician who has saved the lives of multiple animals including dogs, cats, 4 raccoons and many more who would have otherwise suffered and died. These animal receive regular veterinary care and live like kings on a farm with there own barn and family. Now, a certain individual for exact reason unknown called the ODNR and complained. The ODNR wants to kill these animals. There will be a trial and a hearing in December. There are no laws saying the DNR can go around killing healthy animals. This is just their barbaric policy. These tame animals have a right to live out their lives peacefully! There are no rehab facilities in Ohio for deer or raccoons. If you find these animals injured and call wildlife/ DNR, they will come out and kill it. More information can be found at FB site Saving Trooper and his story is posted at savingtrooper.com, 3 legged miracle deer. http://www.savingtrooper.com/ https://www.facebook.com/SavingTrooper?ref=profile https://twitter.com/SavingTrooper https://plus.google.com/u/0/115837927324649661971/posts http://instagram.com/savingtrooper?ref=badge http://gotrooper.tumblr.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQBNqzs1BC-om0deMxppeKA

Montana | Wikipedia audio article

01:44:57
This is an audio version of the Wikipedia Article: Montana Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago. Learning by listening is a great way to: - increases imagination and understanding - improves your listening skills - improves your own spoken accent - learn while on the move - reduce eye strain Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone. Montana has several nicknames, although none are official, including "Big Sky Country" and "The Treasure State", and slogans that include "Land of the Shining Mountains" and more recently "The Last Best Place".Montana is the 4th largest in area, the 8th least populous, and the 3rd least densely populated of the 50 U.S. states. The western half of Montana contains numerous mountain ranges. Smaller island ranges are found throughout the state. In total, 77 named ranges are part of the Rocky Mountains. The eastern half of Montana is characterized by western prairie terrain and badlands. Montana is bordered by Idaho to the west, Wyoming to the south, North Dakota and South Dakota to the east, and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan to the north. The economy is primarily based on agriculture, including ranching and cereal grain farming. Other significant economic resources include oil, gas, coal, hard rock mining, and lumber. The health care, service, and government sectors also are significant to the state's economy. The state's fastest-growing sector is tourism. Nearly 13 million tourists annually visit Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, the Beartooth Highway, Flathead Lake, Big Sky Resort, and other attractions.
