Darren Blasutti, president and CEO of Americas Silver and former senior VP of corporate development at Barrick Gold, said that although mergers between two major miners are rare events, he wasn’t particularly surprised at this particular deal between Barrick and Randgold. “I wasn’t surprised. Barrick’s been spending the last six or seven years working its balance sheet out, selling assets, and at some point in an industry in which you got to replace your ounces, they had to be starting to buy or look at merger opportunities,” Blasutti told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Denver Gold Forum. Blasutti noted that this deal should be advantageous to both parties, and gives Barrick the opportunity to sell non-core assets and make room on their balance sheet for bigger assets, which has been an objective for the company that has seen its share price drop nearly 50% since 2016. _________________________________________________________________ Kitco News is the world’s #1 source of metals market information. धरती के अंदर तेल और गैस के भंडारों का पता कैसे लगाया जाता है? How to find oil and gas? Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsgYLbhCUaA #gold #Gold_in_India #Gold_mining Some people cover their cars with Gold, some wear clothes made of gold wire, someone designs Gold their mobile , there are many people in the world who use gold in different way. women of India are also addicted to gold ornaments. people had bought gold to hide their money. But do you know how gold is formed inside the earth? What are the ways to find Gold? How Gold prepared? From which places of India does gold come out? Which countries is the largest gold source? How the gold came inside the earth or how? Humans would never have got the chance to be ashamed of gold. Millions of years ago when the earth was being built. Along with these extraordinary conflicts, billions of tons of molten gold and platinum fell into the center of the Earth and became part of its crude. But today the human race has become so clever that he is in search of everything and is in the process of getting it. So something like this Gold come on earth and today its prices are high. How to find Gold in Under Ground ? So this work happens in the same way as the oil and gas deposits in the ground are detected, in which ground penetration radar (GPR) is used to find out what is in the ground. In fact, it records the physical properties of the soil such as density, magnetic properties, registration, on which the graph is prepared and it is estimated that the core analysis is done under the soil, then the core analysis is done. Drilling it under the ground and removing a little debris and analyzing it. It gives accurate information about what is below. Apart from this, hidden property, metal, i.e. gold, silver, copper etc. are detected through VLF technology. For this the waves are sent within the ground. Once after hitting these waves, the VLF receiver creates an electromagnetic field around that object and produces a sequestration by collision the special metal. This kind of survey is carried out by the team of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and Geological Survey of India (GSI). There are 7 different ways to find gold. 1) break the rocks by exploding 2) Milling of stones 3) the process of wetting sand 4) process of cyanide 5) Amalgamation 6) Flotation So by this process, you can guess that finding gold is a very difficult task, this is the reason why gold prices are so high in the market. Gold is very solid and it is very difficult to actually make ornaments. Usually gold is found either in the form of alloy with either pale or silver or alone. It is also found in the form of Calvarites, Sylvainite, Petjite and Cranerite ores. And the gold which is extracted from the mine is in the form of ore, which is absolutely pure gold. Which places of India are extracted gold? Most of the production of gold in India is in the state of Karnataka, where gold is extracted from the mines called Kolar, Hutti and Uti. Apart from this, gold is also extracted from Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand's Hirabuddin and Kendraakocha mines. If we talk about a mine of Jharkhand, then about 4 grams of gold is extracted from a ton of stone and on average, 7 kg of gold is extracted from a mine here every year. The biggest gold mines in the world. In which Kimberley mine is in Africa, after Grasberg mine which is in Papua, Carlin Nevada mine which is in the US, weladero mine which is in Argentina and the writer's quarry is in Papua New Guinea. 5 countries that produce the most gold or produce gold. 1. China which has been ahead in gold production for many years, China produces 426 tons of gold in about a year. But his government has seen a decline of 6 percent in the past year due to the efforts taken to fight pollution and increase environmental awareness. However, due to the excavation of several mines in existing projects, this year's production is expected to begin. 2. Australia Australia produces 295.1 tons of gold in a year. The mineral industry is more than half of Australia's total exports and generates about 8 percent of GDP. 3. Russia A large part of European gold comes from Russia, which has been increasing its production every year since 2010. Russia produced 17 tons more than last year, And Russia produces 270 tonnes of gold every year. 4. United States America also pulled 8 tonnes more gold this year compared to the previous year. Where the production was supported by Project Ramp-up in the Long Canyon Project in Nevada and the Hail project in South Carolina. And the United States produces 230 tonnes of gold every year. And about 78 percent of the US gold comes from Nevada alone. 5. Canada Fall of a glacier in north British Columbia in Toronto, Sebrija Gold stumbled upon an important golden area and estimated to be estimated at 780 metric tons. Canada produces 175 tons of gold every year.

What's destroying the South American rainforest? Most people would point to agriculture, cattle operations, and a booming population. But researchers are starting to recognize another threat: Gold mining . According to a new study , gold mining razed 650 square miles of tropical forest in South America between 2001 and 2013. That may not sound like a lot — the area is about the size of Hong Kong — the devastation is far greater than just the loss in forest cover. http://feeds.mashable.com/~r/Mashable/~3/cV1OIjwRo70/ http://www.wochit.com

This video is a visual 3D imaging presentation of both Caspiche and Cerro Moro. Exeters Caspiche Project in Chile (option to own 100% from Anglo American Chile Limitada) is a gold-copper porphyry system, a type of deposit common to many of the world's largest open pit gold - copper mines. It is located 15 kilometres (8 miles) south of Kinross Gold's Refugio mine (+6 million ounce gold resource), and 10 kilometres (6 miles) north of the very large Cerro Casale gold-copper deposit (24 million ounce gold resource), jointly owned by Kinross Gold and Barrick Gold. In October 2009 Exeter announced an updated National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) compliant mineral resource estimate for Caspiche, for all drilling conducted to end 2008-2009 drill season. The inferred resource is 19.6 million ounces gold, 4.84 billion pounds of copper, and 40 million ounces of silver, or 32.4 million gold equivalent ounces (refer to October 20, 2009 News Release). The additional 12.8 million ounces of gold equivalent is calculated using a copper conversion price of US$2.00 per pound, a silver price of US$12.00 per ounce and a gold price of US$800 per ounce (assuming 100% recovery). The resource estimate leaves the deposit open for expansion to the southeast and to depth. The Cerro Moro Gold-Silver Project in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina is 100% owned by Exeter, with the Santa Cruz Government Mining Company, Fomicruz S.E. entitled to a 5% interest, on completion of mine permitting. In July, 2009, Exeter announced an initial inferred mineral resource estimate for drilling completed to the end of 2008. The inferred resource is 646,000 ounces gold equivalent at a grade of 18 grams per tonne ("g/t") gold equivalent (refer to the July 8, 2009 Press Release). The Company's focus will be to advance drilling on the Escondida vein, which contains 518,000 ounces gold equivalent at a grade of 34 g/t gold equivalent. Engineering, environmental and infrastructure studies will also be advanced ahead of a scoping study planned for 2010. Exeter is now conducting a detailed drilling program on Escondida in order to upgrade the portions of the inferred resource that might be scheduled for early mining to the "indicated resource" category. This program entails some 30,000 metres of drilling and is expected to be completed by year end.

http://goldstocktrades.com/blog We are in the midst of summer doldrums, volumes are down across the board. Shorts are clearly in charge. Just look at top performing Tesla $TSLA which was taken down on bearish reports indicating potential production shortfalls. Remember the shorts have been squeezed from possibly $50, Tesla recently was trading close to $400 per share so its entitled to a pullback. Tesla may not be able to keep up with production targets if they do not secure supplies of lithium, cobalt and graphite. Most of this supply comes from South American sources which may be sold out past a certain date. Cobalt is coming from Congo where there are concerns of child slave labor in the mining areas. Graphite is mostly imported from China which is sable rattling in the South China Seas and their proxy N. Korea. Lithium and cobalt are in a strong price uptrend. Graphite like rare earths have been manipulated lower by the Chinese to prevent competition from N. American sources. Cobalts is breaking into new multi year highs and is really driving interest in the junior mining sector. I’ve been highlighting LiCo $LIC.V, First Cobalt $FCC.V and Cobalt Power $CPO.V which I own and they are website sponsors. See my recent post on Cobalt Power $CPO.V $CBBWF which has an interview linked with the CEO Dr. Rompel who worked for major mining companies such as Anglo American and Hohschild. Cobalt Power may have one of the first drill results in cobalt sector to announce to public coming out shortly which I am quite excited about. Lico $LIC.V $WCTXF has a lithium project in the Atacama in Chile next to the big boys plus an exciting cobalt property in Ontario which may get some news. Lico has attracted some top notch board members such as former management of companies like BC Hydro and Truegold. First Cobalt $FCC.V $FTSSF is halted as they are merging into possibly the top pure play cobalt player in Canada with an all star roster of mining executives. These three companies above are very active and could announce significant developments concurrently with the Tesla Model 4 release which could be a major disruptor to the automobile industry as the Iphone was to the cell phone industry. We saw it with cell phones and internet, now it is the computerized self driving electric car. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of us are driving electric cars by 2030. As the Tesla Model 3 is released don’t be surprised to see an uptick in interest in the lithium, cobalt and graphite sector. In addition to the Model 3 news, major car companies such as Volvo, Volkswagon and BMW are committed towards electric motors. Volvo wants to be totally electric in two years. This is a huge news item which most investors are ignoring. They need to realize this transition of auto companies could create a major shift in the supply demand curve. Keep a close eye on China and its proxy N. Korea. There is a lot of tension in the South China Seas and this could boil over into the critical rare earths and graphite space needed desperately for renewable clean energy. Remember electric vehicles use a lot of graphite and rare earths. Now is the time to look at the rare earth survivors such as Ucore and Commerce. Notice Quest has gone bankrupt. Molycorp’s Mountain Pass is being stolen by the Chinese right under our noses. This is a travesty. Americans should write to their politicians and state they don’t want their mining and manufacturing industries sent overseas. We can mine rare earths, lithium, graphite and cobalt right here in North America. The rare earth market could bounce after the Molycorp and Quest bankruptcies. Things could get volatile with Trump and international relationships in Asia. Notice the major move in palladium in 2017 yet? Its outperformed mostly all asset classes. Most of that material comes out of Russia. Any good junior palladium explorers you like? Please let me know. Do you have Newrange Gold $NRG.V $CMBPF on your radar yet? They may be on the verge of one of the best high grade gold discoveries in Nevada in many years. Its just beginning to get noticed by investors as many just don’t care in the summer. However, I am quite excited and think you should take notice. Disclosure: I am biased. These companies are website sponsors and I own securities. Owning securities and receiving compensation is a conflict of interest. This contains forward looking statements which may not come to fruition as junior mining is extremely risky. This should be considered an advertisement and not financial advice. Do your own due diligence.

Whether this is a coordinated response is unclear - and certainly on a much smaller scale - but Bloomberg reports that Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree this morning imposing higher tariffs on U.S. products in retaliation for U.S. duties on metals imports, according to Economy Ministry statement. In the 1860's, Virginia City was the center of the Nevada gold rush. Today there is another gold boom and mining companies are interested in the area again, much to the dismay of many locals. All entry level miners in the gold sector should earn a minimum wage of 12 and a half thousand rands. That's one of the demands tabled by the Association of Mineworkers & Construction Union - AMCU - this morning. The union is also demanding that houses be built for workers who are permanently injured, and for the families of those who die on duty. http://goldstocktrades.com/blog One of the most exciting areas discussed by some of the smartest investors in the room at the Mines and Money Show in NYC was battery metals especially lithium, cobalt and graphite. Each with their own unique supply demand equations that are far from balanced. Each battery metal deserves its own report but today I will be focussed on cobalt which is seeing huge uptick in pricing and interest by some top private equity groups. There is one story that is raising hundreds of millions of dollars to invest in junior cobalt developers. This could have a huge ripple effect on the little junior cobalt sector coming into this summer when Tesla will launch the Model 3 which may become the average middle class workers new affordable vehicle of choice. The demand for these metals especially right now lithium and cobalt is soaring while supply is not able to keep up yet. This is why I spoke with Dr. Andreas Rompel CEO of Cobalt Power Group $CPO.V $CBBWF a PhD Exploration Geologist who spent years with producers Anglo American and Hochschild Mining. Now he is focussed on cobalt exploration as the price has risen dramatically from $10 to $25 as the demand for lithium-ion batteries soars as we observer the rise of multiple gigafactories across the world. Dr. Rompel’s Cobalt Power has been early picking up cobalt properties in Ontario before cobalt made its major move. Dr. Rompel’s expertise is in mining of deep and narrow veins in Peru and Mexico. This is useful as the cobalt project is an old mine with very similar characteristics as those veins in S. America. Cobalt Power acquired a project about a 5 hour drive north of Toronto. This isn’t greenfield exploration. Management has a pretty good sense where to drill. They are sitting on an old mine with underground maps which mapped the veins. Management appears to be confident that they can hit cobalt mineralization this summer with their drilling program which may be on the verge of beginning. There is a lot of silver associated with this cobalt and some historical reports show some high grades in that area. Remember cobalt is a strategic metals in the US and Canada and its still early stage. The junior cobalt industry is still in the very early innings. Cobalt Power has under 70 Million shares outstanding and the market cap is micro at under six million. They are just beginning to drill and this summer could be huge for the industry as Tesla unrolls Model 3. Dr. Rompel has great experience and is ready to put ten holes into the ground to confirm their model of the veins. Then once they confirm the veins location they can start extending the veins and try to show continuity and hopefully find multiple veins which is needed for an economic mining setup and the publication of an initial NI 43-101 Resources. Cobalt Power $CPO.V $CBBWF prides itself as an early first entrant into the Ontario Cobalt Scene with one of the most advanced projects in the area. Their goal is to be one of the first junior cobalt players to get into production. Dr. Rompel has production experience with Anglo American and Hochschild and I look forward to the first phase of drilling which could confirm what management believes are the exact location of the veins. These results could come at a time when electric vehicles go mainstream with the Model 3 release by Tesla. Disclosure: I own securities in Cobalt Power and the company is a website sponsor. That means I have been compensated and I am biased as I may benefit off an increase in share price. This article and interview contains forward looking statements which may not come to fruition as small cap mining stocks are risky. Please do your own due diligence and consult a financial advisor. This is not financial advice and should only be seen as an advertorial.

Both states have more public land than all other states. But... other than that, it doesn’t seem like there is much in common between the bordering states, which is a bit surprising. First of all, Utah is younger. There are more kids there. In fact, a higher percentage of babies are born in Utah each year compared to all other states, not just Nevada. It also has the largest family sizes in the country. 47% of Nevada residents are married, compared to 57% of Utah residents. Utah is more Caucasian. It has few minorities. Nevada, on the other hand, is much more diverse. Nevada’s Hispanic population is quickly approaching 30 percent of the state. Utah is more educated. Whatever that means, right? Well, for the purposes of this video, that means they have a higher percentage of people who graduated from college and high school. 41% have a college education in Utah, compared to 32% in Nevada. Related to this, Nevada has a much higher poverty rate, which is around 21 percent. Utah’s is just 11 percent. Utah’s unemployment rate has been significantly lower than Nevada’s since 2003. Utah appears to have a much better health care system than Nevada. According to US News, Utah ranks #15 out of the 50 states for health care while Nevada ranks #37. By most standards, Utah residents are much healthier than Nevada residents. Nevada has the worst ranking in the United States for immunizations and mothers receiving poor prenatal care. Its suicide rate is the second highest in the country. Meanwhile, Utah has the lowest infant mortality rate in the country, the lowest cancer death rate in the country, and the lowest percentage of adults who smoke in the country. During the Cold War, the United States conducted 928 nuclear tests in Nevada, and 0 in Utah. However, Utah had plenty of “downwinders,” or people exposed to the nuclear fallout from these tests. Politically speaking, Nevada residents generally lean to the left and Utah residents generally lean to the right. Nevada has voted for the Democratic candidate the last three presidential elections, while Utah has voted for the Republican candidate the last 13. If you dig deeper, you’ll find Nevada is extremely more libertarian compared to Utah. More on that in a bit. Both states have very different histories. Utah was founded by Mormons, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a religion founded in the United States in 1830 by Joseph Smith. The Mormons had fled west to escape persecution back east. Today, Mormon influence is evident no matter where you go in Utah. The church has a huge influence on the state’s culture and traditions. This explains much of the strong family ties in the state, the outlawing of alcohol and tobacco, and the fairly boring nightlife. Nevada, on the other hand, has the most exciting nightlife in the country. Las Vegas truly is the city that never sleeps.

www.undergroundworldnews.com An All News Pipeline reader has emailed us the photograph above as well as the 1st video below which show a US military convoy with microwave weapons units taking a break while heading west on I-80 near Reno, Nevada. These units are used by the military as a non-lethal method of crowd control according to Extreme Tech, causing a tremendous amount of pain to those who the weapon is used against and making the skin burn' from the inside out, though said to cause no permanent injuries. This is just the latest sighting by everyday Americans across the country that provides us with more proof of huge preparation for some kind of an 'event' by the US military that looks more and more as being preparation for crowd control and civil unrest in America for when the economy completes its' tumble, leaving the US a 3rd world nation. Called an 'active denial system', these weapons can be mounted on top of vehicles or used as stand-alone units with their own generators on wheels as seen in the picture above and video below. Sending a non-lethal millimeter-wave electromagnetic energy beam at 'attackers', the energy beams penetrate skin up to 1/64 of an inch deep and cause a sensation that is similar to one being on fire - a two-second energy burst can heat a humans skin up to 130 degrees, causing anyone within its vicinity to pull away by reflex. These weapons can also be set to kill and work much like a microwave oven, with human beings being cooked rather than popcorn and pizza. Much more below. http://allnewspipeline.com/Microwave_Weapons_Nevada_Jade_Helm_15.php
