CHECK OUT COINCHAT (EARN BITCOIN) http://coinchat.org - mingle in the social chat with other crypto currency users and miners CAUTION: Trying this at home could result in damaging your hardware. Know the dangers and risks before doing this yourself. USE AT OWN RISK. The below script sets your GPUs at their maximum power and could be dangerous to the hardware. Temperatures should be kept at the coolest they could possibly be. "cd desktop" changes the directory to desktop and "cd cgminer" changes to directory to where the executable file is to run the software. Scrypt to be saved into a batch file: cd desktop cd cgminer timeout /t 30 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 95 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer --scrypt -I 19 --thread-concurrency 21712 -o http://stratum.give-me-ltc.com:3333 -u username -p XXXXXX --auto-fan --gpu-engine 1008,1008 --gpu-memclock 1675,1675 --thread-concurrency 8192,8192 -I 13,13 -g 2 -w 256,256

LiteCoin: How to earn money with your graphics card: HD7970 / R9-280X LiteCoin Guide

11:49
In this tutorial I'd like to show you how to get into scrypt mining with your graphics card. I'm using an HD7970 (comparable with an R9-280X) graphics card. You will need to acquire a copy of cgminer 3.7.2 (or lower) from http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer I'm using www.wemineltc.com in this example as our pool for litecoin mining. Here's the configuration for your .bat-file. setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cd C:\Crypto\cgminer\ cgminer.exe --url world.wemineltc.com:3335 --user florianuhlemann.1 --pass 123 --url usa.wemineltc.com:3334 --user florianuhlemann.1 --pass 123 --url hk.wemineltc.com:3333 --user florianuhlemann.1 --pass 123 --scrypt --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 --worksize 256 --intensity 13 --gpu-threads 2 --queue 0 --expiry 16 I suggest going up in 10MHz steps on your engine clock with a fixed memory clock to the highest value and then trying to work your way up with the memory clock on what your graphics card can handle. If it's too high, you will see it fail (blue screen, artifacts, stripes, etc). Be aware that you will most likely void your warranty if you do so (overclocking)! You might also like to increase the PowerTune value to 20 (max) and turn up your fan to 100% or as needed to provide sufficient cooling. Litecoin Mining - My First Computer Build Ever

Left: 5x Gigabyte HD 7970, MSI Z77A-G45, 16MB DDR3, 1400 Watts @ wall. 2x EVGA Supernova 1000w 80+ Platinum PSU Right: 5x Gigabyte HD 7970 Ghz Edition, MSI Z77A-GD65, 16MB DDR3 2x EVGA Supernova 1000w 80+ Platinum PSU Will update with power consumption soon 6.85Mh/s on auto-gpu using cgminer stable 2820W 7.1Mh/s with --gpu-memclock 1450 --gpu-engine 1025 Stable 2950W 7.3-7.4Mh/s with --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1100 Not 24hr stable 3100W PSU Graveyard: EVGA Supernova 1000W after 1 night, Antec TR2 700W after 1 week. So far an Antec Smart-M 850W is taking the Supernova's place with flying colors so it was definitely the Supernova that was bad. Recommended Cgminer Settings: --auto-fan --auto-gpu --scan-time 1 --queue 4 --no-submit-stale --shaders 2048 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 I use overheat and cutoff temp in cgminer sometimes but I do not use target temp. I found it lowers my hash rates no matter what gpu-engine & gpu-memclock settings I choose. This might be because I also have auto-gpu in there. My temps are 75-77C with these fans, and 75-84 with 2 smaller Honeywells. I know I could squeeze more speed out of them. I can get the non OC cards to 770 easily with 1085/1500, but I prefer to be slightly easier on my cards and old circuit breakers. Please no rude comments... Like the title says, this is my first computer build and I couldn't be happier.

EasyLTC: LTC Mining Extremely Easy

Hello everyone! Today I demo a program I made this weekend that allows you to mine Litecoins with only an account on a litecoin pool and knowing what your GPU is (5970, 6990, 5850, 6870 . . . ). Just start up the program, enter your pool details and what card you have, and you're golden! Litecoin Dogecoin Scrypt 1200 KH/s Mining Rig 3 x 7850

09:33
http://www.cryptorushnews.com The video demonstrates my scrypt mining rig. I have mined litecoin and dogecoin with it. It has 3 Powercolor 7850 2GB cards that mine about 306 KH/s per card without being overclocked and using 420 watts of power. Completely overclocked this rig will achieve 1200 KH/s and uses about 500 watts of power. Please like, comment and subscribe. Below is a list of equipment used in this rig, as well as amazon links. Below are some alternatives. I spent a little more on the CPU and RAM above so I can use those parts in a gaming machine once this rig becomes obsolete for mining or for when I upgrade to scrypt ASIC miners. AMD Sempron 145 Processor http://amzn.to/1cUYOWq G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) http://amzn.to/Mte8z2 Also if you want to spend more money on the rig but get much more hashing power you can go with better GPU's that have a hash rate at about twice as much as the 7850's. I'm talking about the 7950's and they are listed below. If you go with this option, you will need a slightly bigger power supply which I also listed below. The below combination can also be used with the cheaper CPU and RAM. MSI Radeon HD 7950 3GB TWIN FROZR GPU http://amzn.to/1iseKjM Seasonic 860w Platinum PSU http://amzn.to/1kd1Mtg

XFX Radeon HD7970 - Used for Bitcoin Mining

05:14
Selling this card. Used it for BTC Mining before the difficulty got too hard. Now I've just been using it for gaming until I just recently upgraded to a XFX R9 290, so I don't need this guy anymore. I've been using this card to play CS:GO, Dota2, LoL on max graphics. Recently beat Wolfenstein New Order, Styx, Thief, Metal Gear Solid V... Barely plays Dying Light at 720p. Could be due to poor optimzation though. The card has no artifacts, doesn't crash. The only issue I've noticed is that sometimes under heavy load, it will kick down in power. It won't artifact or anything, but your fps will get cut down. I'm not sure what causes it. But I can play CSGO/Dota/LoL/Skyrim/ for hours without any issues on max. So I'm not quite sure. But Dying Light after a bit will drop down to 10fps until i restart the card, or if I throw like 5+ Smoke grenades in CSGO and have them all there it'll bog down the card to 40fps until i restart it.

Bitcoin & Litecoin mining physical setup

03:10
This is a video of my Bitcoin & Litecoin / Scrypt coin mining setup. It is powered off of both 120 volt and 220 volt North American US/CDN power, although I may eventually run it mostly off of 220 to free up the 120 volt split circuit for items that cannot run 220 volt (routers, hubs, etc). This setup is located not far from Ottawa, Ontario in Canada in my basement. I will note, that it provides quite a bit of welcome additional heat to the basement while mining away for crypto currency. I want to emphasize there isn't any advantage to going 220 volts other than making the physical setup easier and more economical material wise (wire and breakers). Using 220 Volts DOES NOT save energy, and uses the same billable wattage/kilowatts per hour. The house has a 200 Amp service, however our water and house heating is oil with woodstove supplement. This leaves lots of available amperage to upgrade and add more circuits to draw power if I ever max out 30 amps 220 volt. The 220 volt plug is wired to a 30 Amp breaker, and the 120 volt plug wired to a split 20 amp breaker (each outlet has 20 amps of power with a common shared neutral; an overloaded outlet will trip both off). The armoured cable to the outlet boxes was overkill for the setup, but was a cheap upgrade due to the short distance from the panel. Armoured cable provides protection for the wire, and does serve as a secondary ground (however you must use the copper ground in all cases). If you use armoured cable, you must terminate the ends of the armour with plastic protectors for the wires inside which must be visible for inspection after securing the cables. Check your computer power supplies to ensure they are 220 volt compatible before considering this setup, and consult an electrician and your local code & inspection requirements prior to making modifications to your panel. The hash rate for the Litecoin rigs is over 5000 Kh/s using 6 X 7970 Saphire, and 4 X 7950 Gigabyte. I custom made the frames myself, and I am testing different designs for supporting the graphics cards, reducing strain on power cables, and compacting the rigs while balancing airflow requirements. The hashrate for the Bitcoin is 557 Gh/s using a BFL Jalapeno 7 Gh/s and a KNC Miner Jupiter 550 Gh/s (Oct version). The shelving was a customized yet off the shelf solution that came from Solutions - Your Organized Living Store in Ottawa, Ontario Have fun mining.... Ryan

R9 280x Build Vlog - GPU Mining on a Virtual Machine

47:30
This is a followup video to my purchase of the R9 280x. I was snowed in and decided to record a build vlog of how I setup a new virtual machine on my VMware ESXi 6.5 Hypervisor server, install my new AMD R9 280x GPU, passthrough the GPU to the new virtual machine, and start mining crypto with it. I go through all the steps in order, concluding with optimizing the GPU for 24/7 operation. It's a longer video, so grab some popcorn and watch me go through the paces to get things up and running. This video is more for entertainment than education, but there's plenty you can learn from it should you decide to do something similar with your own ESXi server. BBT Episode 5: Sapphire Toxic R9 280x Deep Dive

07:36
BEST VIEWED IN 1080p HD In this episode the BBT dives into the Sapphire Toxic R9 280x Toxic and its performance hashing, both from a open air aluminum, traditional case both open and closed and finally with some external airflow provided from a fan. Additionally which settings worked best for us for a strong and solid performance. We build a crazy fast traditional PC to push these cards to the limits both from a mining rig and gaming perspective, figuring with just two why not build an great PC in the process. Best configuration we found was (Crossfire Disabled): -I 13 -w 256 -g 2 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1070 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20 --gpu-vddc 1.100 As for the PC build the specs are: Carbide Series® Air 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case Intel i7 4770k @ 4.6ghz (stable) MSI Z87-G45 Gaming LGA 1150 Motherboard 16gb (8x2) Corsair Ballistix Memory 2x 240GB Kingston HyperX SSD - set to Raid0 eVGA Supernova 1300W G2 Power Supply Sapphire version we reviewed: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202044 Our channel survives from subscribers like you and from tiny donations! If you are interested in cloud mining, please help by clicking this link: http://bit.ly/Iyf6bM - It's an interesting and very easy alternative to hardware-based mining, but do your calculations before investing! Be sure to read the rest of the description as well about the KnC! Here's an unboxing video and setup guide for the KnCMiner Jupiter from Sweden. Running v0.95 and hashing at around 500-520GH/s with 560W power consumption. Very quiet. The build quality of the parts inside the case are great. Very sturdy mounting of the heat sinks! Good work, KnC! I hope you enjoy this video. Please like and subscribe. If you enjoy my high-quality content, please consider supporting me for more! PPCoin-Mining with single Radeon HD 5970 @ ~800 Mh/s

00:39
I'm currently mining PPC with a single Radeon HD 5970 (overclocked) at ~ 800 Mh/s. Cores are ~ 80°C. Card is overclocked with MSI Afterburner: Core Voltage: 1175, Core Clock: 950 MHz, Memory Clock: 1150 MHz. Working like a charm without any problems 24/7! - Power consumption: 500 Watts (whole system). The Mainboard supports up to 4 PCI-e cards in 8x, or 2 PCI-e cards in 16x so I am going to add some more cards soon! HARDWARE: Graphiccard: Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 (OC) Mainboard: Foxxcon A79A-S (very cheap, efficient and has 4 PCI-e 16x-Ports!!!) CPU: AMD Athlon X2 4000+ Power: Chieftec NTRO 85+ 750W Ram: 2GB Kingston Value RAM (not important for mining PPC, but for LTC you should use cooled ram and up to 8GB min.!)

5+ Mhash/sec Worldcoin/Litecoin (LTC) mining rig

04:32
This is just a brief look at my 5+ Mhash/sec litecoin mining rig. It uses a total of 9 7950's and a single 5870. At the current difficulty level, it is mining about 430 litecoins a month. Edit: as of 6/23/13, i have tweaked it to 5900khash/sec and it now generates 238 litecoins/mo. This is because the difficulty has gone up in the last two months. It now stands at 746.36389261.
